College...scary

I turn 18 this year. I'll be a legal adult, get to sign stuff, go to relief society, be old, and go to college. Where did time go? I feel like I'm 14 still playing Amy in "Little Women" and babysitting for the Tenny's. My last Christmas living at home is gone and I'm going to go get lost in the real world. I hope I never really grow up. I always want to be able to dance in the kitchen, and spin circles in the grass. Look out world here comes the first little birdy from the Brown's nest. In so many ways I'm thrilled! I'll be on my way! No more holding back, and becoming something new. Moving so much has made me love change. I can only stand to have my room in the same arrangement for so long and then I have to pull all the furniture out and do something different. I don't think you're allowed to paint your dorm rooms so no one will have to worry about me messing up the walls with stenciling and sponge paint. My mom says that she is going to have to warn who ever I end up getting married to that they may come home one day and find I've ripped out the carpet and painted a mural on the floor. Once I get to college I know I'm going to love it. I already love the people I haven't met yet and the experiences I haven't had. It's just leaving that will be hard. It always is. It's amazing how many good people there are in the world. No matter where you go you will always find people trying to do the right thing. Too bad I can't snatch them all up and put them on a big grassy hill and we could have a picnic all together. I guess that will be like the celestial kingdom. A bunch of people who are trying to do the right thing. sorry I'm off topic now, but hey it's my blog right I can talk about whatever I want!

i don't think that growing old is synanamous (sp??) for growing boring, so you don't have anything to worry about. ;)

haha that's comforting! I know you will always rock no matter how old you get. Tori and Elisa's "grandma" taunting gets a little old though. ;) There is this awesome quote, I don't remember who it's by but it says, "Life is like a bath, the longer you stay the more wrinkles you get." I don't know about everyone else, but I think I'd better go dump some more pink bubbles into my bath of life.

I think that as long as you are keeping your view of life optimistic, then anything in this world will seem amazingly wonderful. College is going to be a very eye opening experience though, I do have to agree with you there.
